A late play at re-starting a party that began circa 2004’s ‘Anniemal’, Norway’s ‘original’ alt-pop dazzler Annie releases new EP ‘A&R’, an co-initialled collaboration with Richard X, on 5 Aug. Taken from the top of that, Little Boots co-creation ‘Back Together’ shows similar stripes to past Annie tracks, its 90s-style pianos and satiny synth backing taking a fairly straight line to the pleasure centre.
