Cate Le Bon to release LP

Cardiffian avant-pop figure Cate Le Bon is poised to release her second album, ‘Cyrk’. Featuring guest drop-ins from Welsh types Y Niwl, Race Horses and, inevitably, Le Bon’s Neon Neon compadre Gruff Rhys, the album is out via Turnstile on 30 Apr.

The singer-songwriter has this to say of one particular recording experience, which saw her play saxophone on album track ‘Ploughing Out’: “It will be the last time I ever do that. I very nearly ruptured my cheeks”.
