Culture Club return to the studio ahead of reunion show
By CMU Editorial | Published on Wednesday 16 November 2011
Yes, Culture Club are back together again, the mandatory ten years having passed since the last reunion. The band, including Boy George, have gone back into the studio ahead of a New Year booking in Australia with the plan to come up with some new songs.
George told Australia’s Channel Seven, “Last time we got together was ten years ago – it takes that long to recover from the last time we worked with each other! [We are writing new songs], that’s the thing that makes us want to come back and do it. The nostalgia thing is OK, but it’s a bit limited, so for us to come and do this and enjoy it; we need to kind of do something new and incorporate the two things – the past and now”.
