Having appeared, as if by strange magic, amid the line-up listings for Primavera Sound/Optimus Primavera this year, Daniel Johnston has since published details of a new compilation LP he’s releasing on 22 Apr.

It’s designed to soundtrack part-time artist Johnston’s first comic book, ‘Space Ducks: An Infinite Comic Book of Musical Greatness’, and will feature his original tracks plus ‘Space Ducks’-themed musings by Eleanor Friedberger, Fruit Bats, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and… Jake Bugg. All physical editions of the disc will be sold with a copy of the mag attached.
