DMX released from prison

DMX is back on the streets. The rapper was released from prison in Arizona, where he has spent seven months incarcerated for parole violation, on Tuesday. As previously reported, his release was delayed by two weeks after he failed a drugs test.

The rapper’s manager, Nakai Walker, told Reuters: “His first words to me were: ‘I’m home’. I can tell you one thing, he’s not going to be going back there [to prison] again”.

Walker said the first phonecall DMX made was to his estranged wife to arrange to see their two month old daughter. He is also apparently planning to get to work straight away on a new album.
