Glastonbury Festival has announced that APL Events’ Paul Ludford will become its new Operations Director, eFestivals reports. Ludford replaces Melvin Benn, who left the role when the festival ended its ten year alliance with his company Festival Republic in June.

It was announced earlier this week that tickets for the 2013 festival would cost £205 each. They will go on sale on 7 Oct, with buyers initially only having to put down a deposit of £50, before shelling out the rest next spring.

You can register to be able to buy tickets here.
