Imagem signs The Legendary Traxster
By Chris Cooke | Published on Friday 1 March 2013
Independent music publisher Imagem Music has announced a worldwide administration deal with Sam Lindley, better known as The Legendary Traxster, the hip hop producer behind the Ludacris/Nicki Minaj hit ‘My Chick Bad’ amongst many other tracks. Lindley has also worked on recordings with the likes of Mariah Carey, Twista, Chris Brown and Mystikal, working as both a songwriter and producer.
Confirming his new partnership with Imagem, the producer told CMU: “I am extremely excited to be working with my new team at Imagem Music. They get it! From their creative team to the back office they have shown incredible vision and focus. I am humbled by their belief in me”.
Meanwhile Imagem Music A&R Director Amanda Schupf added: “I couldn’t be more excited about Traxster joining the Imagem family. He’s truly a legend in his own right, having heavily influenced the Chicago hip hop sound made known worldwide by acts like Twista and Kanye West. I believe now is his time to become a household name likes the acts he’s helped propel and I’m excited to partner with him at this time and help him achieve his next level of success”.
