Paparazzi Princesses

Yesterday in ‘extrovert kids-of-rappers doing things’ news we had Notorious BIG’s daughters negotiating a strange new show in which their late father appears as an animated ghost, and today… well today it’s MCs Lil Wayne and Birdman jrs who are… erm, doing a thing.

The thing that Lil Wayne’s fourteen year old, Reginae Carter, and Birdman’s similarly-aged teen progeny, Bria Williams, are doing is a book titled ‘Paparazzi Princesses’.

Basically, it’s all to do with the ways in which the girls’ deal with their inherited fame, and features, as do many early-teen memoirs, “Money and designer clothes. Fame and red carpets. VIP concert tickets. Expensive parties…”

Birdman says: “There’s no better feeling than watching Bria and Reginae make this dream come true. They took an idea, worked extremely hard, and brought it to life. It’s the kind of story that everybody can feel, and it’s only the start of much bigger things for these two wonderful young ladies”.

Lil Wayne adds: “Proud doesn’t even begin to describe how me and the Birdman feel. I can’t wait for everybody else to experience their story”.

The book is set to ‘hit shelves’ in June. Its Amazon listing is here, if you care.
