Modest duo amongst winners at Music Week Awards

So, industry types galore amassed in London town last night for the annual Music Week Awards, with 4AD walking away with the best indie label gong, and Universal’s Island Records taking the best record company prize.
The lifetime achievement style Strat Award went to Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee of Modest!, the management duo probably best known these days for their stint taking on the careers of ‘X-Factor’ finalists, and therefore their role in the One Direction phenomenon. ‘X’ man Simon Cowell was on hand to present the duo with their special prize.
