Muse have cancelled three shows on their European tour in Oslo, Stockholm and Malmo, after frontman Matt Bellamy broke his foot. The tour is expected to restart with a show in Helsinki on 10 Dec.

In a statement on the band’s website Team Muse said: “The band have made the difficult decision to cancel these gigs as they feel that they will not be able to do justice to their live show, and the fans who have bought tickets, with Matt performing on crutches. Matt’s progress will be monitored over the next few days, but the remaining dates on the tour are still scheduled to go ahead as planned”.
