Susan Boyle to tour Scotland

Scotland may not have its independence, but one thing it does have is Susan Boyle. Playing live within it, several times, for the first time. As in, Susan Boyle is doing her first ever concert tour, the fittingly titled ‘Susan Boyle In Concert’, in Scotland – and only Scotland – in July.

It’s as she says via her official site: “This is the first year that I feel I can hold my own on a stage for the full time and that I will be able to please an audience and my fans. So I will be performing on seven nights in Scotland as a tester to see if I enjoy it. The venues chosen are intimate and steeped in Scottish history. Fingers crossed it will all go well and then as they say the world is my oyster and I can look in 2014 to do more, well that’s the plan anyway”.

She adds: “I hope that you all will come and watch the shows and more importantly enjoy them. This is a big step for me but one that I’m very excited about. There will be a variety of music and I’ll have my own band, plus a few surprises on the night. I hope you are as excited as I am”.
